blade - mahershala ali
Created in the likeness of actor Mahershala Ali, this project was a case-study to create a realisitic digital-double of Mahershala Ali as he gets ready to grace the silver screen in the up-coming Blade reboot. The 3D character was created to show how the actor could look playing the role. Special emphasis was paid to making the 3D Character look as close as possible to the actor. VFX hair grooming techniques were used to achieve the “Blade-fade” haircut using Xgen.
